Achema exhibitors and visitors alike express satisfaction with the event returning to its traditional timing in June, and to its normal 3-year cycle, according to Björn Mathes, CEO of Dechema Ausstellungs GmbH, and Jürgen Nowicki, Chairman of the Achema Committee, speaking at the mid-week press conference on Wednesday morning. The previous Achema, in August 2022, was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. “In general, most exhibitors are happy that we’re back to the traditional spot,” Nowicki said. “What I see is lots of very educated visitors in long and interesting discussions.”
The positive feedback extended to the Achema Congress sessions as well, said Andreas Förster, executive director of Dechema e.V. “Starting with the last Achema, we integrated the Congress program into the exhibition, and we continued with that here – it has been an absolute success story,” Förster said.
