Evonik Industries has acquired the business of Methacrylate Specialty Esters from Arkema as of the end of 2009. With this acquisition, Evonik enhances its competence in the business unit Performance Polymers as a specialist in methacrylate chemistry and as a reliable global partner within the chemical industry. The acquisition concerns the products 2-Ethylhexyl Methacrylate, Dimethylaminoethyl Methacrylate, and n- and i-Butyl Methacrylate.
