The present handbook gives an overview close to practice concerning the technologies and material engineering of compact heat exchangers. It deals among others with questions of the materials including their thermical and mechanical attributes, with heat transfer optimisation, also with questions of safety in operation and innovative applications.
The authors of the single papers are experts of involved companies, that are distinguished by competence and long tradition in the fields of process equipment construction, services and investigation. The publisher intends to provide with this enlarged English version of the German handbook a forum for the transfer of innovative technologies.
