Mineral-free and made of high-purity cellulose, the depth filter medium offers very high filtration performance, very high chemical resistance and strength, and minimum ion release. The range of applications includes haze reduction for finechemical products, catalyst separation, and demanding separation tasks in the production of pharmaceutical products.
By reducing the rinsing volume by 50 %, this product saves costly rinsing solutions and reduces rinsing times. The depth filters are fully ashable and 100 % biodegradable. Becopad P, the version for pharmaceutical processes, has been optimised with regard to minimising endotoxins and is characterised by a minimum extractable calcium and magnesium ion content.
