On 1 April 2007, Samson, the Frankfurt-based specialist in instrumentation and controls, has celebrated its 100th anniversary. Commenting on the anniversary, Chairman of the Samson Executive Board, Gernot Frank, stated: “Samson is renowned for its engi-neering excellence even outside its business sector. Our company stands for entrepreneurial spirit and innovative strength.” Since Samson was originally founded in 1907, the company has been active in the control of all types of media, regardless of their state. With over 3,000 employees around the globe, Samson develops and produces a wide range of control engineering products at its works situated in east Frankfurt.
Samson valves can be found in plants to manufacture, process and distribute plastics, pharmaceutical products, oil and gas, food and beverages as well as pulp and paper. The valves and controllers are also used in district heating and district cooling.
