Sero offers economical solutions for transporting liquefied petroleum gas with the models SRZS LPG and NHE LPG. The SRZS LPG is a side channel pump designed for flow rates of up to 35 m3/h. The side channel hydraulic is inherently self-priming and has a suction lift ability of up to 4 m. Pumping from underground storage tanks is a common application for a side channel pump. The centrifugal pump design of the model NHE LPG provides for much greater flow rates of up to 170 m3/h with a maximum head of 290 m. Both models cover a large operating range. The LPG pumps are used for various applications such as loading and unloading of storage containers, tank trucks and bottle-filling facilities. They are also utilised to fuel steam boilers with LPG (liquefied petroleum gas).
The Sero pumps have the ability to pump volatile liquids with high amounts of entrained vapour or gas. The model NHE can handle a maximum of 30 % entrained gas, whereas the model SRZS can handle more than 50 %.
