The solenoid driven metering pump known as Gamma/ X is robust, universally suitable and easy to operate with a long service life. Its model-based solenoid control detects varying pressure levels and adjusts the metering behaviour to the prevailing conditions fully automatically and precisely. It is therefore ideal for complex metering tasks of all kinds.
Prominent developed the Gamma/ X metering pump for metering between 1 ml/h and 45 l/h at a back pressure of 25 to 2 bar. As the successor to the solenoid driven Gamma/ L metering pump, it features a modern design with new electronics and many novel functions. In particular, it offers a precise, low-wear solenoid drive, predictive control technology and intuitive operation. Unlike conventional technologies, the Gamma/ X does not need interference-resistant components to measure pressure or detect hydraulic faults. It automatically ensures a smooth metering process at any time, improving the metering efficiency and accuracy.
There is much more to the electronic concept than meets the eye. The Gamma/ X is the first metering pump in its class to be driven by an intelligently controlled solenoid. The pump protects the system from overpressure, as it detects all pressure deviations. Unlike other metering pumps, it eliminates avoidable sources of error in advance without any additional sensors.
Wide capacity range
Thanks to its solenoid control, the pump operates within a range from 1 ml/h to 45 l/h, with an adjustment range of 1 : 2000 and ±2 % reproducibility. The stroke length can be set electronically between 0 and 100 %. If a chemical is metered into a primary flow proportionally to the volume, continuous metering characteristics in the form of an elongated metering stroke are beneficial because they ensure good mixing and there is no need for a static mixer in the primary flow.

Automatic bleeding optimises the result if metering is affected by gas bubbles produced by gaseous media. The intelligent control technology works fully automatically to ensure a trouble-free metering process, so that both productivity and product quality are increased.
The parameters can be adjusted quickly using a click wheel. Four keys ensure fast access without any laborious scrolling through several menu levels – and hence intuitive operation and programming. The three-level LED status display on the front of the device is easy to read from a distance as well as from any angle and indicates the operating status clearly at all times.
