Jessberger’s JP-360 (600 W) and JP-380 (825 W) drives are compactly built, externally ventilated universal motors with protection class IP 55. The handy, very robust and powerful motors can be used as drives for immersion tubes of drum pumps. They are suitable for many thin liquids to slightly viscous, neutral, aggressive and non-flammable liquids (max. 1000 mPas).
The integrated electronics allows the motor to start slowly (soft start) and thereby prevents the splashing of hazardous liquids. The standard integrated low voltage release is intended to prevent an uncontrolled start of the drum pump motor after a power failure or voltage drop and thus guarantees maximum safety.
The flow rates up to 112 l/min (rotor) and up to 83 l/min (impeller) and heads up to 16 m (rotor) and 37 m (impeller) of the media to be pumped were measured with a 1“ pressure pipe and a oval gear meter. By means of a four steps electronic speed control, that is integrated in the keyboard at the top of the motor handle, speeds of 50, 60, 80 and 100 % can be selected. Therefore the flow rate can be adjusted to the needs of the user.
