The compact, fully automatic labeller from Bausch + Ströbel is a PLC-controlled machine which applies labels to cylindrical containers. Bottles, vials, and even unstable containers such as ampoules, cartridges, etc. with a diameter of 7.5 to 52 mm and an overall height not exceeding 140 mm can be labelled at an output of up to 12000 containers per hour. The machine processes all kinds of self-adhesive labels supplied in rolls with a maximum diameter of 400 mm. Both the design and surface finish of the machine ensure that thorough cleaning is quick and easy. The use of corrosion-resistant materials such as stainless steel and high-grade plastics makes the machine suitable for the pharmaceutical industry. The label dispenser is controlled by a stepping motor and transports the label web gently and reliably. The web feed is automatically adjusted to the respective label length, thereby ensuring that each container is labelled precisely.
