The clean-break couplings of the CP series were developed specifically for water hydraulic applications and for demanding media in the chemical and medical sectors, for process technology and engineering. Walther Präzision could fullfil the requirement made by many clients to specifically enable ergonomic and non-squirting operation even under residual pressure, by means of a special clean-break valve technology. The function-related residual leakage is thus minimised in such a way that very little media is lost when the fitting is disconnected. Accordingly, very little foreign media enters into the pipe system when it is connected again.
Another feature of the coupling series is the very good pre-centring and easy single-handed operation (automatic lock). Thus, even when the coupling situations are complex, coupling is still a safe process. Overall, safety for both the operator and the environment is thus improved.
The coupling is available in the nominal sizes 6, 9, 12 and 16 for a multitude of connections. The CP series is made from high-quality stainless steel. On request, the couplings can be supplied in FDA conforming seal quality, and oil-, grease- or silicone-free.
