The MPTC from Bioengineering enables the calibration of multiple temperature sensors of different types, quickly and precisely, in a single operation, without danger to the production system due to oil residues because no oil bath and no dry block system are required. Calibration results are more reliable, because sensors are calibrated in a position similar to that when installed in the production system. The calibration range of the MPTC can be used for sensors to the upper limit of 140 °C. Set points can be programmed in any desired sequence and with individual stabilisation times. Pressing a single button initiates a fast, automatic change to the next calibration point. The MPTC can execute a temperature change from 20 to 125 °C in less than 25 min and cool back down to 20 °C in less than 20 min. Precision is better than 0.05 °C and the reference thermometers can be easily intercharged.
