Bürkert Fluid Control Systems has enhanced the technical features and appearance of its digital flow transmitters. The models 8026, 8036 and 8076 now shine in the consistent stainless steel design of the Element series. The re-designed housing conceals numerous technical improvements, as a result of complete re-engineering. The new features include future-proof system architecture with a special processor and software to optimise the performance of the sensors. To guarantee maximum reliability and quality, the same circuits are used for conductivity and pH/ORP measurement as those used in the Element transmitter models 8222 and 8202.
The flow transmitters with 4…20 mA output are available in two versions: Basic (one NPN transistor output) and Advanced (two NPN/PNP transistor outputs). They comply with the stringent UL safety standards and provide long-lasting and reliable IP protection in protection class IP 65/67. The flow transmitters can be used not only in water treatment and process automation, but also for food and beverage, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals. The removable displays are programmable and equipped with backlight for easier operation. All customer-specific settings, such as the measuring range, pulse output and filters are configured directly at the device.
