Together with the update of the Sonochek apps Sonolevel and Sonoleak, Prüftechnik launches the Sonolevel Dataviewer, a visualisation PC-software for leak analysis. Sonochek is a digital leak inspection device used to localise leaks in compressed air, gas and vacuum systems. The device includes automatic leak classification and its broad bandwidth of 20 to 100 kHz allows detecting leaks even at an early stage. Sonochek is also used effectively for electrical inspection and monitoring of bearing lubrication.
In the age of digitalisation, data must be transferred seamlessly from one device to the next. With Sonochek 1.1, mainte-nance and service engineers can now fully integrate leak inspection into their maintenance activities by transferring the Sonolevel measurement data via micro USB into the Dataviewer PC-software for central leak visualisation and analysis.
The Sonolevel Dataviewer enables analysts to save time by identifying defects at first sight through the clear visualisation of data in level graphs and spectrograms showing ultrasound phenomena such as the status of steam traps or the type of partial electrical discharge. Users can also easily compare reports e. g. of identical bearings. The Dataviewer software can be installed easily on a PC or a tablet for on-site evaluation. Export to CSV format is fully supported for data archiving and trending.
