Conrad Electronic is introducing itself as a competent partner for maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) supplies. The company is exhibiting testing equipment designed for MRO and quality assurance (QA). Visitors to the stand can see on-site demonstrations and have the opportunity to perform various testing tasks.
Besides illuminated magnifiers and inspection lights designed for the chemical, pharmaceutical and biomedical industries, the company is also emphasizing industrial-grade testing equipment. “If you want to minimize downtime and increase productivity, you need preventive maintenance,” explains Ralf Heinrichs, vice president Sales Germany at Conrad Electronic. “This requires accurate projections based on state-of-the-art data analysis. To do this you need high-quality testing and diagnostics equipment, as supplied by the Conrad Sourcing Platform whose strongpoint is a product range that is both wide and deep.”
The testing equipment range of Voltcraft (photo) is a brand that has been designing professional tools centered around user requirements for over 40 years. “Among the products we’ll bring to this year’s ACHEMA is the VC891 handheld multimeter that’s calibrated to ISO standards, comes with a 60,000-count reading accuracy and an overall accuracy of ±0.03,” Heinrichs says.
Voltcraft’s DL-220THP ISO datalogger is another one of the exhibits, a device that enables long-term measurement and recording of air temperature, RH and atmospheric pressure. The tester can be set up using a browser-based app, and is also available in an ISO-calibrated version.
Speaking of tester accuracy, “We operate an in-house lab and collaborate with Testo Industrial to offer a calibration service for 30 types and 100 units of measurement,” says Heinrichs. This is why the Conrad Sourcing Platform supplies thousands of testers that come with either DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 or DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018 (DAkkS) certification. Moreover, Conrad business customers can make the most of the company’s comprehensive service that not just includes the supply of calibrated equipment, but also allows sending equipment already in use to Conrad, to be recalibrated.
