Eurotec is expanding its product portfolio of valve-actuator accessories with limit switch box from the Wave Series. This solution provides — in addition to classic open/close applications — an analogue feedback with high precision by means of a 4…20 mA signal via an angle sensor. In comparison to conventional voltage signals, 4…20 mA current signal features an extraordinary resistance to interference. Electromagnetic interferences, which intrude into the line as voltage signals, cause only minimal current changes, considerably increasing the reliability of the transmission. The 2-wire technology also enables efficient monitoring of cable breakages. Furthermore, every position in the swiveling range can be precisely monitored. The Wave limit switch box can be easily and precisely set for any swiveling range between 0 and 360° using a designated Teach-Box.
