Gas-inducing impellers increase the utilisation of pure gases during gas-liquid or gas-liquid-solid multiphase type reactions. The Ekato Orion is a self-inducing impeller for internal gas recirculation from the head space back into the liquid. Due to the internal gas recirculation, an external loop is not required, resulting in lower investment costs and increased safety in case of hazardous gases.
Precisely designed to maximise the productivity of high-capacity gas-liquid reactors, the Orion has low lifecycle costs and an excellent return on investment. The inner geometry of the Orion is flow optimised to reduce pressure loss of the recirculated gas and thus, increasing the amount of recycled gas.
The self-aspirating gas-turbine is made for maximum efficiency. The advanced impeller geometry minimises hydraulic flow losses for most cost-effective conversion of power to gas-dispersion. The Orion has a resilient design to guarantee smooth and service-free operation at high volume-specific power dissipation in multi-phase mixing.
