Cyclone heavy-duty, single-cartridge mechanical seals are designed for slurry pumps. Cyclone seals come equipped with a unique non-clogging seal face. The Expeller Cyclone Face technology creates a cleaner seal-face environment and protects the seal face from solids, reducing operational costs and increasing mean time between repairs. Test reports are available for the seals’ performance under exposure to paper, sand, wastewater, sugar and gypsum. The gaskets are interchangeable with all spiral-wound and Cam-profile gaskets and will not damage flanges. These gaskets effectively prevent over-compression of sealing elements.
