The Visco.pump progressive-cavity pump is designed for dosing and dispensing of fluids and pastes proportional to speed. The technology of the Visco.pump is based on the volumetric principle of an endless (infinite) piston, wherein the core components rotor and stator form a perfectly sealed metering chamber. The eccentric movement of the rotor allows for a low-shear motion of the medium from one chamber to the next chamber without squeezing the media. The metering chamber is optimally designed for dispensing liquids and pastes containing fillers. The accuracy and repeatability is ±1%.
The development of the new Visco.pump particularly focused on the geometries of the pump, as well as on the compensation of the inlet pressure. The aim of the development was to significantly reduce the space and to bring a lightweight and space-saving solution on the market. Its smaller size makes Visco.pump especially suitable for a use on small dispensing robots, since the centrifugal forces during fast, dynamic traverse distances have no influence on the pump. It is especially designed for precise dosing, as well as for the adherence of magnets, for sealing of housings, for lubrication of motor shafts or for application of cooling pastes onto microchips, among many other applications.
