M+W Instruments is a Bronkhorst unit and manufactures thermal mass flow meters and controllers for gases. Among them is the digital series D-6300 that works on the basis of direct through-flow measurement, following the constant temperature anemom-eter (CTA) principle. The instrument series provides all functions for accurate mass flow measurement and integrated control covering flow rates from 0.01…0.2 up to 500…5,000 ln/min air equivalent. Along with the standard RS232 communication and commonly used digital or analogue input/output signals several fieldbus interfaces can be connected. With its compact and robust design and IP 65 protection as a standard the series is suited for applications in tough industrial conditions as well as in laboratories and research facilities. One key element is the optional integrated multi-functional and multi-colour display with operator buttons on the instrument.
