Powtech, the International Trade Fair for Mechanical Processing Technologies and Instrumentation, together with TechnoPharm will take place in the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg from 11 to 13 October 2005. Overall, a final figure of 950 exhibitors and about 13,500 trade visitors are expected. The exhibition offers a complete, finely structured spectrum of products from the pioneering technologies for processing powder, granules and bulk solids. Moreover, Powtech offers an extensive and interesting supporting programme. The latest achievements of nanotechnology in the field of processing technologies and instrumentation are presented in the 3rd “Nano goes Powtech” theme pavilion in hall 7 throughout the exhibition. Powtech further offers a platform for industrial safety and explosion protection. Many exhibitors provide information about ex-protected plant components and processes in the “ExploRisk Zone” in hall 7. The International Symposium of the European Safety Management Group (ESMG) during the exhibition presents the latest developments in industrial safety and the technical principles of explosion protection. From 12 to 13 October 2005 the Bulk Academy is organizing the two-day première of the Bulk Days parallel to the exhibition. Besides the trade fair with an expected 270 exhibitors, TechnoPharm 2005 offers many exhibitor presentations on current developments. Moreover, the 1st European Congress on Life Science Process Technology offers an outstanding discussion forum.
