The Flecotec system (short name for flexible containment) was developed by Rommelag for powder handling procedures to reliably protect staff and products from contamination. The system is based on single-use containment made from plastic films. Containment of single processes like sampling, weighing, filling and transferring bulk materials do not affect existing certificates of plants and processes. No cost and efforts for additional validation occur. The films are disposed off after the processes are finished. Time consuming and costly cleaning and validation processes are reduced to a minimum.
