Spectrex announced the launch of its next-generation Sharpeye 40/40D and C series flame detectors that provide optimum protection against hydrocarbon-based fuel and gas fires, hydroxyl and hydrogen fires, and metal and inorganic fires. These detectors provide early warning of fires at long distances in record time and with high immunity to false alarms.
Featuring Quadsense technology with enhanced performance, the Sharpeye 40/40D offers long distance detection of hydrocarbon fires at up to 90 m in under 50 ms. The new series can be used in a variety of industries and applications, including oil & gas installations and pipelines, petrochemical and chemical plants, storage tank farms, power generation facilities, fuel and gas processing and storage facilities. The Sharpeye 40/40D and C are easy to install and maintain and come with universal wiring and multiple output options for maximum flexibility and compatibility.
