The rotary feeders from Zeppelin were developed on the basis of the existing feeder program which had been completely revised and optimised. Both, the medium pressure rotary feeder CFM and the high-pressure rotary feeder CFH are part of the new feeder range. The following three basic construction materials are available for the rotary feeders: stainless steel for the foodstuff industry and high-quality plastic materials, aluminium for bulk plastics and gray cast iron with different surface treatments for mineral materials and the chemical industry.
High-pressure rotary feeders of the type CFH are appropriate for a pressure range of up to 3,5 bar, medium pressure rotary feeders of the type CFM are adequate for up to 1,5 bar. The range of rotary feeders includes sizes of 200 up to 800 l which is equivalent to capacities of 4 up to 360 l and, thus, fulfills the customers’ requirements with regard to throughput.
