Two Quint Power power supplies and the Quint Diode redundancy module from Phoenix Contact with zone 2 approval are available now for use in potentially explosive areas in protection type n according to EN 50021. For output currents of 5 A and 10 A, the power supplies have a regulated and adjustable output voltage of 22.5 to 28.5 V. Consistent implementation of the wide power range from 85 to 264 V (AC) and 90 to 250 V (DC) ensures safe operation on all common power grids worldwide. A potential free relay contact and an active transistor switching output provide preventive function monitoring capabilities. To achieve 100% redundancy, the power supplies can be connected in parallel using the redundancy module.
An international certification package including Atex regulation with the standard EN 50021 and the standards of UL for Class 1, Division 2, which is of special importance for areas with potentially explosive substances, enables worldwide use.
