The guided radar sensor Vegaflex 81 from Vega is ideal for level and interface measurement in all liquids. It delivers precise and reliable measuring results from -20 to +200 °C and from -1 to +100 bar – in metering or storage tanks as well as in by-pass tubes or standpipes. As a member of the plics family, it combines all the advantages of the sensor concept: rod, cable and coax versions, standardised process fittings and a variety of housings and electronic versions. Depending on the switch setting of the electronics, the sensor outputs either a level or an interface signal. Automatic probe end tracking allows measurement of media with a dielectric constant less than 1.6. For applications in toxic or hazardous media, the guided radar sensors are equipped with a gas-tight feed through. For maintenance purposes, Vegaflex 81 has asset management functions according to NE 107. And of course the sensors have all necessary approvals, including Atex, FM, WHG (Water Resources Act) and SIL2/3.
